In 1986 Mike got the ride in the late Joe Pisano's Oldsmobile. Even though only running a limited schedule the team won the '86 U.S. Nationals, was runner-up at the '87 U.S. Nationals and set the speed record 3 times and became the first funny car over 280 mph. Back to Funny Car Archives |
